Haryana government honours 18 patwaris/kanungos

Why In News?
- On April 27, 2022, a total of 18 Patwaris/Kanungos from across the state were felicitated by the Chakbandi Department of The Government of Haryana at the Red Bishop Tourism Centre in Panchkula.
Key Point
- Amna Tasneem, Director, Chakbandi Department, said that the 18 Patwaris/Kanoongos who were honoured had done a commendable job during COVID-19.
- Out of these, 7 Patwaris/Kanoongo were honoured with motorcycles and citations from Hero MotoCorp and 11 Patwaris/Kanungo with commendation cards.
- Minister of State for Revenue and Disaster Management Department Anoop Dhanak said that Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala had earlier felicitated patwaris who have done excellent work in Jind.
