According to the information given by the Information and Public Relations Department of Rajasthan on July 10, 2023, Mahatma Gandhi Government English Medium Residential School from class 1 to 12 will start soon in Jaipur to provide quality study facilities to the students of minority communities of the state. .

• According to the information, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has given financial approval of Rs 15.15 crore for the construction of the school building.
• An amount of Rs 1 crore will be spent in this financial year. This amount will be spent from the Minority Inclusive Development Fund.
• This residential school will have a capacity of 200 students. If there are more than 200 students here, they will be able to study as day-scholars.
• Through this school, free residential facilities will be provided to the needy and talented students of the minority community.
• This approval of the Chief Minister has been given in view of the increasing trend and need of education in English medium among parents and children. This is an important step in the educational upliftment of the minorities.
