- On May 29, 2023, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot approved a financial proposal of Rs 16.97 crore for providing various nutrition growth monitoring equipment in the Anganwadi centres of the state.

- With this decision of the Chief Minister, equipment like an infant meter, stadiometer, weighing machine, etc. will be made available in Anganwadi centres.
- With this accurate information about various nutritional indices including weight and length of babies and mothers will be available and desired nutrition can be given to them.
- It is noteworthy that the announcement in this regard was made by the Chief Minister in the budget for the year 2023-24.
