Dhami Launches Free Pathology Test Scheme | 18 Aug 2021

On August 17, 2021, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami launched the free pathology test scheme for the people of the state at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital (Coronation).

This scheme has been launched under the Public Private Partnership model.
Under this, 207 types of pathological tests will be done free of cost in government hospitals of the state with the funds provided by the National Health Mission (NHM).
This scheme will be implemented in two phases. In the first phase, the scheme will be launched in 38 district sub-hospitals and community health centers in six districts – Almora, Tehri, Dehradun, Nainital, Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar. In the second phase, the free pathology test scheme will be implemented in the remaining districts.
