On December 14, 2021, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated and inspected the Command and Control Center of the Health Department at Vikas Bhawan.

During the inspection, the Health Department official said that this is the first command and control center of the Health Department in the country. Through this monitoring of all health centers, monitoring and analysis of data including medical equipment will be done.
It has been started as a pilot project in Muzaffarpur and Nalanda. The Chief Minister interacted with the doctors and patients in the OPD of District Hospital Muzaffarpur from the Command and Control Center and inquired about the treatment and facilities there. Also inspected the OPD of Nalanda Hospital.
During this, the Chief Minister said that since 2006, many works have been done in the field of health. Earlier, through landline telephone, information was obtained from the Chief Minister's Secretariat and the Health Department after talking to the doctors in the hospitals. Now through new technology, the work being done in the field of health can be implemented and controlled more effectively.
