On February 20, 2023, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot inaugurated Vyas Medicity in Jodhpur district of the State.

- On this occasion, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that all possible steps have been taken in the medical field to realize the concept of a healthy Rajasthan. The state government is committed to provide better health services to the common man.
- The Chief Minister said that the state government has taken full care of development works in every area in Jodhpur. Probably all the prestigious institutions are established in Jodhpur. Prestigious institutions like AIIMS, National Law University, Ayurveda University, Sardar Patel Police University, MBM Engineering University have been established here.
- He said that announcement has also been made to open Marwar Medical University and Mahatma Gandhi Divyang University for Divyangjans in Jodhpur.
