Why in News?

On December 19, 2023, Chief Minister Hemant Soren participated in the "Aapki Yojana, Aapki Sarkar, Aapke Dwar" program organised at Chhapar Toli in Kasira Panchayat of Gumla district and inaugurated & laid the foundation stone of schemes worth Rs 467 crore.

Key Points

• Chief Minister Hemant Soren laid the foundation stone of 105 schemes worth Rs 402 crore.
• Chief Minister Hemant Soren inaugurated 45 schemes worth Rs 64 crore.
• Chief Minister Hemant Soren distributed assets worth Rs 204 crore to 1,45,091 beneficiaries.
• Chief Minister Hemant Soren handed over appointment letters to a total of 85 people under Compassion and DMFT.
• It was said in this program that an 800 km road is being constructed in Gumla district at a cost of Rs 625 crore and a 200 km road is being constructed at a cost of Rs 300 crore under the Rural Roads & Road Construction Department.
• It was said in this program that 9 irrigation schemes are being implemented at a cost of Rs 242 crore. Under this, a target has been set to irrigate 25 thousand acres of land.
• In this program, 25,332 adolescent girls were provided benefits under Savitribai Phule Kishori Samriddhi Yojana.
• In this program, approval letters were given to 3804 beneficiaries under Birsa Irrigation Well Promotion Scheme.
• In this program, acceptance letters were given to 1050 beneficiaries under the Chief Minister Livestock Development Scheme.
