Why in News?
- On October 21, 2022, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated 24 schemes in the state from Gyan Bhawan in Patna.
Key points
- Besides inaugurating 24 schemes in the state, the Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone of two medical colleges online, out of which a Government Medical College and Hospital in Buxar would be built at a cost of Rs 515 crore. Apart from this, a government medical college and hospital will also be built in Begusarai.
- The Chief Minister also launched the Digital Health Scheme in Bihar and distributed appointment letters to 9469 selected health workers.
