- On March 18, 2022, Anurag Choudhary, CEO of Ayushman Bharat Niramayam Society, informed that the workers engaged in construction works on sites like buildings, roads, bridges, ponds in Madhya Pradesh will be provided cashless treatment from April 1.

- It is noteworthy that 12 lakh 50 thousand laborers who are doing construction at places like buildings, roads, bridges are being linked to the Ayushman scheme under contract by the Ayushman Bharat Niramayam Society and Karmakar Mandal of the state government.
- Under the contract, the labor families registered in the workers' board will be given the facility of free treatment by making cards. Under this, 12 and a half lakh labor families of the state will also get the facility of free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh every year.
- 90% of the workers in the state are in the unorganized sector. These workers will be able to get a free treatment facility from Ayushman Yojana. Many times workers get injured in accidents during construction works and due to financial constraints they are not able to get treatment on time, but they will be able to get treatment through Ayushman Yojana.
- Cards will be given to the workers of the unorganized sector including the workers registered in the Workers' Board. For this, camps will be set up at construction sites. At the same time, the card holder workers of the Karmakar Mandal can also get the card made from the kiosk center through labor card, Aadhar card and Samagra ID.
- The cost of the treatment of workers undergoing treatment under Ayushman Yojana will be borne by the Workers' Board. For this, an amount of about Rs 1052 per worker will be deposited as annual premium in Niramayam Society by the Workers' Board.
