On May 17, 2023, In the cabinet meeting presided by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan approval was given to the 'Mukhyamantri Sikho-Kamao Yojana' (Youth Skill Earning Scheme) for the unemployed youth of the state.
Key Points
- 12th, ITI, Graduate and Post Graduate will be eligible in this scheme. Under the scheme 8 to 10 thousand rupees will be given to the youth during training for one year.
- The state government has set a target of training one lakh unemployed Under the scheme. If more unemployed youths come than this target, they will also be included.
- In this, The youth will have to register on a portal. They will have to upload their Own educational qualification documents, Composite ID, permanent residence certificate and other information Also.
- To the eligibility of this scheme, It is necessary to be a resident of Madhya Pradesh, for which the age of 18 to 29 years and 12th pass or ITI is necessary should the minimum educational qualification.
- Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that under the scheme, the children will be 700 different types of work in engineering, electronics, hotel management, tourism, travel, hospital, railway, ITI, software development, banking, insurance, accounting, chartered accountant and other financial services about given the taught.
- This work will be taught in any institution, company, factory or hospital. During this work money will be transferred directly to the accounts of the children.
- Under the scheme, Rupees 8,000 per month will be given to those who are 12th or less educated. Rupees 8,500 will be given to ITI passers, Rupees 9,000 to diploma holders and Rupees 10,000 per month to those pursuing degree or above.
- Technical Education, Skill Development Department Additional Chief Secretary Manu Srivastava said that under the 'Chief Minister's Learn-Kamao Yojana' approval of one thousand crore rupees Amount has been given for the purpose of training at least one lakh youth in establishments.
- Under this scheme, the youth will get a stipend of Rs 8 to 10 thousand per month during the training. 75% of the stipend will be paid by the state government through DBT. After the training, A certificate from the State Council for Vocational Training will be given by the Madhya Pradesh State Skill Development and Employment Generation Board.
