C-Mart launched in Kawardha

Why In News?
On April 6, 2022, Chhattisgarh's Forest and Climate Change Minister and Kawardha MLA Mohammad Akbar launched the virtual C-Mart in Kawardha.
Key Points
- On the lines of big cities like Raipur, Bilaspur, Durg-Bhilai, C-Mart has been established in Kawardha.
- It is noteworthy that the state government is setting up C-Mart with the aim of providing a platform to sell the products manufactured by the women's group under one roof and to make women self-reliant.
- Women groups of Kawardha district can bring their goods to C-Mart for sale. The National Urban Livelihoods Mission (Nagar Palika Parishad, Kawardha) has provided a loan amount of Rs 10 lakh through Canara Bank Kawardha.
- This C-Mart will be operated by Deepanjali Mahila Self-Help Group Kawardha. In C-Mart, items made by women of Deepanjali Mahila Self-Help Group and items of daily use will be sold.
- Here, other items including Badi, Bijori, Sevai, Potato Chips, Masala, Haldi, Mirchi, Gobar Gamla, Rice Flour, Dalia, Wheat Flour, Papad, Murku, Phenyl, prepared by women will be sold.
