'Bright India, Bright Future Energy 2047' Celebration

Why in News?

• On July 20, 2022, Ganesh Shankar Mishra, Managing Director of Madhya Kshetra Vidyut Vitran Company, Bhopal, informed that according to the instructions of the Union Ministry of Power, from 25 to 30 July, 2022 in 16 districts of Bhopal, Narmadapuram, Gwalior and Chambal divisions of the company's work area. In the Amrit Mahotsav of Madhya Azadi, Bright India, Bright Future Energy 2047' celebrations will be organized.

Key Points

• Managing Director Ganesh Shankar Mishra said that under the Bhopal division of the company's work area, Tarawali Kala, Bhainsakheri in Bhopal district, Kurwai and Ganjbasoda cities in Vidisha district, Raisen and Silwani cities in Raisen district, Sehore and Budhni cities in Sehore district and Celebrations will be organized at Mangal Bhawan and Panchayat Bhawan in Rajgarh district.
• Under Gwalior division, celebrations will be held in Gwalior and Bilhati in Gwalior district, Sevdha and Datia city in Datia district, Ashoknagar city and Mungawali village in Ashoknagar district, Guna city and Myna town in Guna district and Shivpuri city and Karera in Shivpuri district.
• Under Narmadapuram division, itarsi and Pachmarhi cities in Narmadapuram district, Harda and Timarni cities in Harda district and Nandu village in Betul district, Ghoradongri and Amdhana village tehsil Bhimpur.
• Celebrations will be held in Sheopur and Vijaypur city in Sheopur district under Chambal division, Morena Town Hall in Morena district, Rajoudha Panchayat auditorium and Mehgaon city and Phuf in Bhind district.
• It is worth mentioning that in the Bright Bharat, Bright Future Energy, 2047' ceremony, the Ministry of Power, Government of India in coordination with Central Power Sector Enterprises (CPSE's) display banners, posters, audios of achievements, schemes etc. of the energy and renewable energy sector. Visuals, street plays etc. will be displayed in the function through the district administration.
