Best Performing Districts Rewarded For Improving Sex Ratio | 09 Mar 2022

Haryana Minister of State for Women and Child Development Kamlesh Dhanda honored Rohtak, Charkhi Dadri and Jind districts for their better performance in improving the sex ratio in a program organized in Panchkula on the occasion of International Women's Day.

Minister Kamlesh Dhanda honored district Rohtak for the first, Charkhi Dadri second and Jind for the third prize by giving Rs 5 lakh, Rs 3 lakh and Rs 2 lakh respectively and a citation.
Apart from this, he also honored the winners of Poshan Puraskar, 2021-22. District Mewat was awarded Rs. 2 lakh for securing first position, Rs. 1 lakh to Faridabad for securing second position and Rs. 50 thousand to district Palwal for securing third position and citation.
Suman of Yamunanagar was honored by giving 'Behen Shanno Devi Panchayati Raj Award' of Rs 1 lakh.
Apart from this, 46 talents were honored in sports, social sector, worker working in Anganwadi center, women entrepreneur category and government employee category.
Earlier, Kamlesh Dhanda launched a poster based on nutrition on behalf of the Department of Women and Child Development.
