- In the Asian Youth and Junior Boxing Championship held in Dubai (UAE) from 17th to 31st August, 2021, Haryana players won gold, silver and bronze medals by performing brilliantly.

- In this boxing competition, Pranjal of Panchkula has won the gold medal in the weight category of 70 to 75 kg of Under-17 category.
- Keerti Dhul of Kaithal won gold in 81+kg weight, Sanjana won silver in 81 kg and Lasu Yadav won bronze medal.
- Haryana has also been included in the 5 states selected under the 'One State, One Game' scheme for the Olympics 2028.
- It is noteworthy that the Asian Youth and Junior Boxing Championships are organized by the International Boxing Federation.
