- On November 2, 2021, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar approved the revised 'Samadhan Se Vikas' scheme to enable recovery of pending External Development Fee (EDC) dues.
Key Points
- The 'Samadhan Se Vikas' scheme designed to enable recovery of long pending EDC dues was approved in a meeting of the State Council of Ministers on July 6, 2020.
- The scheme was developed on the lines of the central scheme 'Vivad se Vishwas'.
- Under this policy, an amount of Rs 1130.13 crore has been recovered till 30 September, 2021. Presently, the EDC dues of about Rs.14932.87 crore are pending with the colonizers/developers. Hence, the scheme was not extended after 30th September, 2021.
