Why In News?
- On December 28, 2022, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot approved Rs 31.50 crore for setting up a 'State-of-the-Art Gym and 'Fitness Centre' and 'Open Gym' in order to provide world-class facilities for practice and training to the players in the state.
Key Points
- According to the proposal, gyms and fitness centers with modern facilities will be opened at Sawai Mansingh Stadium Jaipur, Barkatullah Khan Cricket Stadium Jodhpur and all divisional headquarters. Apart from this, open gyms will be set up at all district headquarters of the state.
- It may be mentioned that the Chief Minister had announced in the budget for 2022-23 to open state-of-the-art gyms and fitness centers in all divisions and open gyms at district headquarters.
