According to information received from the media on September 4, 2023, the proposed air service between Dehradun, Pantnagar and Pithoragarh is expected to start soon. The trial has started on the air route from Fly Big Company.
Key Points:
- According to the information, the 19-seater aircraft of Fly Big Company reached Pantnagar on September 3 via Pithoragarh from Dehradun. In this aircraft, apart from the crew, there was necessary material for the staff of the company present in Pantnagar.
- Fly Big management has deployed employees by setting up site offices at Dehradun, Pithoragarh and Pantnagar airports.
- It is believed that air service can start from October. Employees are being given training before starting the air service.
- It is worth mentioning that this air service will be under the Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS), 60 percent fare of which will be borne by the passengers and 40 percent fare will be borne by the state government.
