9th India International Science Festival will be organized in Faridabad

Why In News?
On November 8, 2023, Haryana Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal informed that the 9th India International Science Festival will be organized by the Department of Science Technology, Government of India at Regional Biotechnology Centre, Faridabad from January 17 to 20, 2024 to promote science interest among students.
Key Points:
- About 12 thousand students from various schools and colleges across the country will participate in the International Science Festival.
- International research and advancements in the field of science will be discussed in detail in the International Science Festival.
- During Amrit Kaal, the latest developments in the field of science and technology innovation in New India will be showcased.
- Apart from lectures on various scientific subjects, exhibitions will be organized in this festival, which will run for four consecutive days. In this, 35 students from every district of Haryana from class 8 to 11 will display their models on science.
