Why In News?
On September 17, 2023, Rajesh Sharma, organizer of Dehradun International Film Festival, said that the 8th Dehradun International Film Festival will be organized from September 22 to September 24 at Silver City Rajpur Road and Tulas Institute.
Key Points:
- Along with the film festival, Uttarakhand Talent Hunt and Aangan Bazaar Exhibition will also be organized.
- The organizer of Dehradun International Film Festival said that two groups have been kept in it. The group will have participants in the age group of 8 to 15 years and above 16 years in which they will showcase their art such as dance, acting, poetry, mimicry and singing etc.
- Along with being given awards and certificates, the winning participants will also get opportunities in vocal music and upcoming projects of Dehradun International Film Festival.
- It is known that the Dehradun International Film Festival has been organized for the last 8 years. In which an attempt has been made to provide a platform to many new directors and producers.
- Many such directors and producers have also come out from Uttarakhand who are making their presence felt at the national level today. Another effort is being made to give the youth an opportunity to showcase their talent in other fields also through Uttarakhand Talent Hunt.
