4 Projects Worth Rs 155 Crore Approved for Gurugram in Haryana High Power Working Committee Meeting

Why In News?
- On February 28, 2023, the High-Power Working Committee chaired by Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal approved projects worth about Rs 155 crore of four the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority of the state.
Key points
- Chief Minister Manohar Lal said that for the first time, a meeting of the High-Power Working Committee was held for the allocation of engineering works worth more than Rs 10 crore.
- He said that the Haryana Engineering Works Portal, which has been launched for inviting e-tenders for the first time for engineering works, is proving to be effective.
- It was informed in the meeting that mg road, the main road of Gurugram, will be beautified on the lines of Lodhi Road in Delhi.
- The service lane, vendor zone and bus queue shelter from Gurugram's IFFCO Chowk to Sikandarpur metro station will also be revamped and projects related to construction of 100 MLD STP at Dhanwapur, sub-stations at Vasai and Baharampur have been approved.
