Haryana finished third with 192 medals including 62 gold, 55 silver and 75 bronze in the 37th National Games held in Goa on November 9, 2023.

- In the 37th National Games held in Goa from October 26 to November 9, 2023, Maharashtra topped with 228 medals including 80 gold, 69 silver and 79 bronze, while Services stood second with 126 medals including 66 gold, 27 silver and 33 bronze.
- In the 37th National Games, Haryana players won 26 more medals than in the 36th National Games played in Gujarat last year, but Haryana missed out on getting second place by four medals.
- Maharashtra topped the National Games 2023 medal tally and won the Raja Bhalindra Singh Trophy, which is awarded to the team that wins the most gold medals at the National Games.
- Olympic swimmer Srihari Nataraj (8 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze) was named the best male athlete, while gymnasts Sanyuktha Prasen Kale and Pranati Nayak (4 gold and 1 silver each) were jointly named the best female athletes at the 37th National Games.
- Haryana's gymnastics players brought glory to the state by winning 11 medals for the first time in the National Games. Haryana gymnasts managed to win 4 gold, 3 silver, 4 bronze medals.
- Wrestling players of Haryana represented their state in the national games. Won a maximum of 24 medals. This includes 11 gold, 1 silver and 12 bronze medals.
- Haryana's performance in team competition
- Hockey teams of the state had an excellent performance in the team competition. The men's hockey team won the gold medal and the women's team won the silver medal. Men's hockey team won the gold medal by defeating Karnataka team 5-3 in the final match. The final match of the women's hockey team was with Madhya Pradesh. In this match, Haryana had to be satisfied with the silver medal after losing in the shootout.
- In Kabaddi and Handball events, men and women teams got silver medals after losing in the finals. In football, the women's team won the bronze by defeating West Bengal 1-0.
