Why In News
- On May 11, 2022, the second Round Table Conference was held in Mumbai under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar in the context of seeking major real estate developers and real estate focused funds for the Global City Project to be set up in Gurugram, Haryana.
Key Point
- The Global City Project will be developed under the aegis of Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation, which is a nodal agency of the Government.
- The Chief Minister said that through this project, Gurugram will be developed as a central business district. It focuses on modern technology sectors and future oriented industries, low carbon green infrastructure, easy living, skill development of people and creating jobs.
