- 'Guru Shashadhar Acharya' of Jharkhand was awarded the Padma Shri award for his contribution in the field of 'art'.
- Shri Madhu Mansuri Hasmukh was also awarded the Padma Shri award for 2020 for his contribution in the field of arts.
- For the year 2020, 141 Padma Awards were given including Padma Vibhushan (07), Padma Bhushan (16) and Padma Shri (118).
- It may be noted that due to the infection of Covid-19 this award could not be awarded till now.
