The income of the CEO A in 2017 = 1.5 lakhs
The income of the CEO A in 2022 = 4.5 lakhs
Increase in the income of the CEO A = 4.5 – 1.5 = 3 lakhs
Hence, the percentage increase in the income of the CEO A in 2017 as compared to 2022,
= 3/1.5 × 100 = 200%

Income of the CEO C = 4.5 lakhs
Hence, the ratio of income of the CEOs A, B, and C in 2020 = 4:4:4.5 = 8:8:9
(c) Find the sum of the salaries received by all three CEOs in each year. In which year, the sum of the salary of all three CEO’s?
Answer:
Sum of the salaries of all the three CEOs in 2017 = 1.5 + 1 + 2 = 4.5 lakhs
Sum of the salaries of all the three CEOs in 2018 = 2 + 2.5 + 3 = 7.5 lakhs
Sum of the salaries of all the three CEOs in 2019 = 3 + 2.5 + 3.5 = 9 lakhs
Sum of the salaries of all the three CEOs in 2020 = 4 + 4 + 4.5 = 12.5 lakhs
Sum of the salaries of all the three CEOs in 2021 = 4 + 4.5 + 4.5 = 13 lakhs
Sum of the salaries of all the three CEOs in 2022 = 4.5 + 4.5 + 5 = 14 lakhs
Hence, the sum of the salary of all three CEOs is higher in 2022 and lower in 2017.

Answer:
The total expenditure of the CEO A in 2019 = Rs 2.5 lakhs
Expenditure of the CEO A is increased by 50% in 2020,
= 2.5 lakhs + 50/100 × 2.5 lakhs
= 3.75 lakhs
Income of the CEO A in the years 2020 = 4 lakhs
Expenditure of the CEO A in 2020 = 3.75 lakhs
Hence, the percentage of savings in the year 2020 with respect to Income earned by the CEO A in the year 2020 = (4 – 3.75)/4 × 100 = 6.25%.
(e) Find the difference between Income of the CEO A and CEO B in the years 2018, 2019 and 2020 taken together with the Income of CEO B and CEO C in the years 2020, 2021, 2022.
Answer:
Income of the CEO A in the years 2018, 2019 and 2020 = 2 + 3 + 4 = 9 lakhs
Income of the CEO B in the years 2018, 2019 and 2020 = 2.5 + 2.5 + 4 = 9 lakhs
Income of the CEO A and CEO B in the years 2018,2019 and 2020 = 9 + 9 = 18 lakhs
Income of CEO B in the years 2020, 2021, 2022 = 4 + 4.5 + 4.5 = 13 lakhs
Income of CEO C in the years 2020, 2021, 2022 = 4.5 + 4.5 + 5 = 14 lakhs
Income of CEO B and CEO C in the years 2020, 2021, 2022 = 13 + 14 = 27 lakhs
Hence, the difference between Income of the CEO A and CEO B in the years 2018,2019 and 2020 taken together to the Income of CEO B and CEO C in the years 2020, 2021, 2022,
