    (a) Find the difference between the points obtained by A and E together in Round V and Round III respectively. (6 marks)

    (b) Find the sum of average points obtained by C and D in all the six Rounds. (8 marks)

    (c) What is the percentage of the points obtained by E with respect to B in Round VI. (8 marks)

    (d) Find the difference of average points obtained in all six rounds by A & B together and D & E together respectively. (8 marks)

    (e) What is the average of the total points obtained in Round VI by all the Boxers? (6 marks)

    (a) Find the difference between the points obtained by A and E together in Round V and Round III respectively.

    Answers:

    Points obtained by A and E together in Round V = 78 + 86 = 164

    Points obtained by A and E together in Round III = 76 + 82 = 158

    Difference = 164 – 158 = 6

Hence, the difference between the points obtained by A and E together in Round V and Round III is 6.

    (b) Find the sum of average points obtained by C and D in all the six Rounds.

    Answers:

    Average point obtained by C is (88 + 90 + 85 + 82 + 90 + 72)/6 = 507/6 = 84.5

    Average point obtained by D is (68 + 88 + 90 + 75 + 85 + 68)/6 = 474/6 = 79

    Sum of Average points obtained by C and D = 84.5 + 79 = 163.5

    (c) What is the percentage of the points obtained by E with respect to B in Round VI.

    Answers:

Points obtained by E in Round VI is 71

Points obtained by B in Round VI is 88

Percentage of points obtained by E with respect to B in Round VI

    = 71/88*100

    = 80.68%

Hence, the percentage of points obtained by E with respect to B in Round VI is 80.68%.

    (d) Find the difference of average points obtained in all six rounds by A & B together and D & E together respectively.

    Answers:

Average point obtained by A & B in all Rounds are -

    For A = (75 + 82 + 76 + 85 + 78 + 85)/6 = 481/6 = 80.16

    For B = (80 + 89 + 78 + 90 + 81 + 88)/6 = 506/6 = 84.33

Average point obtained by D & E in all Rounds are -

    For D = (68 + 88 + 90 + 75 + 85 + 68) = 474/6 = 79

    For E = (74 + 80 + 82 + 72 + 86 + 71) = 465/6 = 77.5

    The difference of average points obtained in all six rounds by A & B and D & E = (average of A + average of B) – (average of D + average of E)

    = (80.16 + 84.33) – (79 + 77.5)

    = (164.49) – (156.5)

    = 7.99

Hence, the difference of average points obtained in all six rounds by A & B together and D & E together is 7.99.

    (e) What is the average of the total points obtained in Round VI by all the Boxers? Answers:

Total points obtained in Round VI by all the boxers- (85+88+72+68+71)/5 = 384/5 = 76.8

Hence, the total points obtained in Round VI by all the boxers are 76.8.
