    Republic of Macedonia changed its name to Republic of North Macedonia. Its neighboring country Greece had objected to its name since the region of Greece bordering the Republic of Macedonia is also called Macedonia. The change of name will now allow the Republic of Macedonia to enter the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and the European Union as its accession to both organizations was vetoed by Greece.

Dialogue focussed on a number of issues including ways to improve connectivity and stabilize war-ravaged Afghanistan. India will host the next India-Central Asia Dialogue in 2020.
