Let us first have a look at what UPSC says about the Interview stage:

“The candidate will be interviewed by a Board who will have before them a record of his/her career. He/she will be asked questions on matters of general interest. The object of the interview is to assess the personal suitability of the candidate for a career in public service by a Board of competent and unbiased observers. The test is intended to judge the mental calibre of a candidate. In broad terms, this is an assessment of not only his/her intellectual qualities but also social traits and his/her interest in current affairs. Some of the qualities to be judged are mental alertness, critical powers of assimilation, clear and logical exposition, balance of judgement, variety and depth of interest, ability for social cohesion and leadership, intellectual and moral integrity”.

This means that the Interview is not just an evaluation of subject knowledge but an in-depth assessment of an aspirant's personality, communication skills, and administrative acumen. This interview serves as the ultimate test, where candidates are expected to showcase their understanding of various issues and their ability to think on their feet, demonstrate leadership qualities and communicate effectively.

Recognising the pivotal role that interview plays in determining success, Drishti IAS under the guidance of Dr Vikas Divykirti Sir has decided to launch the Drishti Interview Mentorship Programme for UPSC CSE-2023. Our Mentorship Programme aims to provide invaluable guidance and support to UPSC CSE-2023 candidates as they prepare to face the Interview Board.

Availability of the Programme:

This Programme is available in both Online as well as Offline modes. Students taking part in Offline Mentorship will get access to a well-equipped library.

Mode: This programme is available in both English as well as Hindi Medium.

The students who have cleared the UPSC CSE Mains Examination–2023 are eligible for admission to this programme.

Admission Process:

The eligible students can join the Programme by:

1. Visiting our offline centre in Delhi (Karol Bagh or Mukherjee Nagar) and getting admission-related formalities done. They also need to register themselves on the following Registration Link. Post that, the course of DMP (Interview)-2023 will be added to their accounts on Drishti Learning App.
2. For students in online mode, the Registration Form is required to be filled and post that the course DMP (Interview)-2023 will be added to their accounts on Drishti Learning App.
